Can fuel guage be changed from gallons to litres

Hello Gentlemen,

I'm a new member, i've got F747, an 88 turbo and bought it home to Sydney, I'm sorry another one has made it to the colonies.

I'm a citroen man, but have an esprit turbo too.

My question is; My friend in the UK fitted a new speedo unit, at great expense before shipping it over, the new fuel guage is in gallons. Is there a way to switch it to litres, or are they all gallons? My mathermatics are pretty poor and i dread running out of petrol.

Some of the manuals show the computer in "Litres", (and km for distance).
Not sure if the unit you have can be switched, or may be you need a different unit, perhaps you need one from a French car???
