Car lifting systems for GTA/610

Postby JackJabba » Wed Oct 14, 2020 4:40 pm

I don't have room in my garage for a 4 post lift. Is anyone using something like a Quick jack system or the VL4H1 Scissor Lift for lifting their Alpine GTA or 610.

Thanks in advance. Jack

There is a picture of Mark Langner using a QUICKJACK with a GTA on face book - a bL 5000 slx- in the renault alpine owners club group- your link is cheaper than the company's website.

Hi,

I have a full height scissor lift that works really well, this is the only picture I have with my Le Mans on it although it’s actually right down and under my temporary 4 post lift. I was able to lift it just high enough to take the wheels off for refurb, whilst under the 4 post! It’s a surface mount lift but I’ve sunk it in the floor.

Yes, my car is on one right now.
No worries with it, only caveat is the Alp's jacking points don't fall so kind for it, mine also isn't recessed so I had to make wooden ramps to get some of the cars on it and leave enough room to get rubber or wooden lifting pads under them.
Ideally I would have it recessed but where my garage is has a very high water table so it would maybe be challenging

They've been a real boon so far but its not always the most comfortable if you have to work right in the middle and have to lie across the bars.

This is the one I got, Google translate will be your friend here..
