A110 navigation

Postby S111DPC » Sat Jul 18, 2020 12:35 pm

Hi, does anyone know if and if so, how you change the navigation system to display in miles rather than kilometres? Thanks

From memory, it happens when you change the units for the entire car. Select what to change with the left stalk and make the change with the right stalk.

CB
Renault 5 Turbo2 (previously) - met. brown
Renaultsport Clio V5 255 (previously) - met. red
Alpine A110 Première Édition - met. blue

That's for the speedo. For Nav, go to the home screen (ie nav in bottom left, media top left etc), press the Plus button, then the cogwheel for settings and there's a "Unit of measurement" option as Imperial or Metric. Just been out to check:

Another question about Navigation screen.
Mine goes to the 'Dark/night' setting quite often even in daylight. Infuriatingly, it does not seem to revert to the 'daytime/bright' view, even in sunshine. Odd?
Anyone also see this and have a solution. I cannot find anything that cures it in the display settings (or in the manual).
Thanks.

I've only ever noticed mine change when the headlights come on. And unfortunatley because we don't have off, only auto/on I'm not sure there's much you can do about it. I find the brightness setting annoying too (for nav and dash) - I want it very dark at night, but in that case it's too dark during the daytime if the lights come on. The dash isn't too bad to change, but the nav screen is way too fiddly to be changing on the fly :(

If your auto wipers aren't working properly either, it could be that the sensor which is behind the mirror has fallen off the screen (as mine did).
